1.Back painting or back printing
Backcoat is a protective coating on the back of the backing paper to prevent waste from being drained, rewound after the label around the adhesive bond to the bottom paper. Another is to make multiple layers of labels. The function of back printing is to print the manufacturer's registered trademark or pattern on the back of the backing paper, which plays the role of publicity and anti-counterfeiting.
2. Surface coating
Used to change the surface characteristics of the face material. Such as improve the surface tension, change the color, increase the protective layer, so that it is better to accept ink and easy to print, to prevent dirt, increase ink adhesion and prevent the purpose of printing text and text off. Surface coating is mainly used for non-absorbent materials, such as aluminum foil, aluminized paper and various film materials.
3. Face material
The surface material is the material that accepts the printed text on the front and the adhesive on the back and is finally applied to the pasted object.
Generally speaking, all flexible deformation materials can be used as self-adhesive material fabric, such as commonly used paper, film, composite foil, all kinds of textiles, thin metal sheet and rubber. The type of surface depends on the final application and printing process. The surface material should be able to adapt to printing and printing, have good inking property, and have enough strength to accept a variety of processing, such as die cutting, waste discharge, slitting, punching and labeling.
4. Adhesive
Adhesive is the medium between the label material and the bonding substrate, acting as a bond. According to its characteristics can be divided into permanent and removable two kinds. It comes in a variety of formulations to suit different surfaces and different occasions. Adhesive is the most important component of self-adhesive material technology and the key of label application technology.
5. Release coating (coated with silicon layer) that is, on the surface of the bottom paper coated with silicone oil layer, coated with silicone oil can make the bottom paper into a very low surface tension, very smooth surface, the role is to prevent the adhesive bond on the bottom paper.
6. Backing paper
The role of the backing paper is to accept the release agent coating, protect the adhesive on the back of the surface material, support the surface material, so that it can be die-cut, waste discharge and labeling on the labeling machine.
7. Coat the bottom layer
It is the same as the surface coating, but it is coated on the back of the surface material, the main purpose of coating the bottom is:
(1) Protect the surface material to prevent penetration of adhesive.
(2) Increase the lightlessness of the fabric;
(3) Increase the adhesive force between the same surface material;
(4) Prevent the plasticizer in the plastic surface material from penetrating into the adhesive, affecting the adhesive performance, resulting in the reduction of the adhesive force of the label and the label falling off.
